Product Overview

Fibaro Home Center Lite (HCL) is a new, sleek and smaller version of the FIBARO controller that inherits many of the features of the Home Center 2 allowing you to automate the things that matter to you everyday. HCL is equipped with a new recovery system and has the ability to store backups in the cloud for added peace of mind. Its modular design allows for the addition of features such as a battery and GSM module*. The Home Center Lite will allow for even greater integration of home multimedia with FIBARO System.

Home Center Lite vs Home Center 2

The larger Home Center 2 comes with a number of additional features not found in the Home Centre Lite.  These include:

Use Case

1. Home Center Lite will take care of your garden and water you lawn. Sprinklers will be activated automatically, but only if it is not raining. Home Center Lite collects meteorological data and allows you to create scenes associated with the weather.
2. Home Center Lite provide the geolocation features which allow you to check where other family members are. From now on, you will always know what are your children doing and when the dinner should be ready.
3. Home Center Lite collects the data on weather conditions. When the rain is expected, the system automatically sends you a notification about the opened windows and asks if you want to close them.

The stunning Fibaro Motion Sensor is a universal Z-Wave multi-sensor. Along with detecting motion the device measures the temperature and light intensity in the area. The sensor has a built-in accelerometer to detect any tampering of the device.

The Fibaro Motion Sensor is battery powered and designed to be installed quickly and easily on any surface. The LED indicator signals motion, temperature level and operating mode. The motion sensor can be used for lighting scenes and security monitoring systems.

Use Case

1. How often does it happen that one of family members forgets to turn off the light? Motion Sensor integrated with lighting system is a simple way to save the energy. Lamps will automatically turn on when someone enters the room and turn off when no movement is detected.
2. Children during their innocent plays may become a reason of minor damages at your home. How to protect your jewellery, important documents or expensive cosmetics from their creativity? Motion Sensor is a small device which will take care of your valuables. When the sensor detects movement in the room, the information will be sent to your phone. It is your decision what actions should be taken later.
3. Your child does not like to fall asleep when it is dark in the room? Thanks to Motion Sensor there will be no need to get up and turn off the lamp in a child's room. The sensor will turn off the light automatically after the child falls asleep and stops moving in the bed.
4. Are you worried that your child will wake up at night and wander around the house unattended? Motion Sensor will send you a notification whenever motion is detected in the hallway at night.
5. Motion Sensor turns on the lights in the room when motion is detected, but only if it is necessary. Built-in light sensor allows the device to distinguish day from night. Lamps will be turned on only after sunset or on a cloudy day.

Fibaro Smoke Sensor

Product Overview

The Fibaro Smoke Sensor is a universal, Z-Wave compatible, optical smoke detector. The device can be battery powered (battery life approx. 3 years) or DC powered (12 or 24v DC). A Smoke alarm is signaled by a speaker, blinking LED diode  and through operating commands sent to the Z-Wave network devices. Additionally, smoke alarm notification may be sent to an alarm system or fire alarm system hub, through a NC contact terminals opening.

Optical detector allows for detecting smoke at an early stage of fire, often before flames appear and temperature starts to rise significantly. Moreover the device has a built-in temperature sensor, which can also trigger the alarm once the specified temperatute threshold is exceeded. Fibaro Smoke Sensor is designed to be placed on a wall or ceiling. LED signaling diode signals fire, operating mode and may serve as the Z-Wave network range controller. The sensor is designed to operate in confined spaces, under normal conditions (lacking smoke, dust, condensed water vapour).

The Fibaro RGBW Controller is a universal, Z-Wave compatible RGB / RGBW controller. The controller features four PWM outputs for controlling LED, RGB, RGBW strips, halogen lights and fans.

Use Case

1. Dimmer 2 helps to reduce the expenses on lighting. Dimming bulbs permanently by 15-20% is unnoticeable and harmless for eyes and helps to lower the electricity bills.

Product Overview

The Fibaro Universal Binary Sensor is a unique wireless module for enhancing the functionality of any existing binary output system.  The sensors enable such devices to communicate wirelessly with the FIBARO smart home system.

The module also functions as a wireless temperature sensor system when connected to the DS18B20 temperature sensors. Each module can service up to two binary sensors and four DS18B20 temperature sensors. The Sensor was designed for installation inside the housing of another device whose functionality is to be enhanced (e.g. an alarm PIR sensor).

The Universal Binary Sensor is ideally suited for the wireless collection of data from other sensors. Once the appropriate additional safety housing have been installed, the sensor can be used in areas with high humidity and temperature.

The sensor is often used for integrating the FIBARO system with existing alarm and measurement systems. Its sits in line and is completely transparent to the instrumented system thus allowing it to function normally as before.
